Bonjour, Brilliance!
The French learners have had a fantastic half term, making great progress in speaking and listening. This learning sequence highlights their development and growing confidence in conversations. Year 3 pupils began with simple dialogues about themselves, answering basic questions like their name and age and how they are feeling . Through role-play and repetition, they built confidence in introducing themselves and responding naturally. By Year 5, they could take part in practical conversations, such as shopping at a market. Engaging activities like role-plays, songs, and games helped reinforce their learning. The pupils are developing essential communication skills, gaining confidence, and using language in real-life situations.
