Final outcomes in Art

We are proud to show the final outcomes of various art units across the school. These final pieces are the product of a successful learning journey involving exploration, artist analysis, practice and composition.

Farmer Duck in Reception

This is a reception final outcome based on a literacy unit inspired by the book Farmer Duck! The children were invited to discuss the characters from the story and use collage techniques to recreate them.

London Landscapes in Year 1

This is a Year 1 final outcome from the art unit Starry Starry Night. The children studied the style of the artist Vincent Van Gogh then painted their own night time London landscapes inspired by him.

Year 4 Film Posters

This is a year 4 final outcome from a unit exploring film posters. The children studied the artist Saul Bass and then created their own posters using cut outs and typography.

Hokusai Inspiration in Year 6

This is a year 6 final outcome from the printmaking unit, inspired by the Japanese artist Hokusai. The children analysed his art work, practiced different printing techniques and then created their own designs based on landscapes of their choosing.
