Year 3 Exploring the Globe

In Year 3, the children have been learning about global geography within the overall unit topic of USA. They located and explored the positions of different places on the globe and their distances relative to the Sun. The equator, northern and southern hemispheres, Arctic and Antarctic polar regions were all duly noted and discussed. Children also researched and recorded human and physical characteristics of countries in very different locations.
