Year 3 learn about plants in Science

In Year 3, the children have been learning all about plants for their science topic. This half term, they completed an interesting investigation to discover the effects of adding food colouring to the water of white Carnations. They were amazed to find that the petals had changed colour! Using the scientific enquiry approach of observing over time, they have planted and kept seeds in different conditions. The children are incredibly excited to find out if their predictions about what might happen as a result of this are correct!
