Welcome back!

Dear Parents and Carers...

We have had a wonderful start to the term here at Heronsgate and I would like to commend all of our children and their parents (!) for their positive approach to the new year.

It is very appropriate that this month we are reflecting on our Heronsgate value of responsibility. Our children have shown this through their actions as they have joined their new class and started their learning for this year.

I cannot wait to see the many achievements that we will all make during the next 12 months.
I would also like to give a special welcome to the families of our Reception children who started this September. Our youngest pupils are already showing how responsible they are as they look after each other, share their ideas and make new friends.

Here’s to a great, and hopefully straightforward, school year.

We would like to welcome you to the start of a new academic year; those returning as well as those of you who are new to the school.
It has been an excellent start to the new academic year across both of our campuses. The children have returned with smiles and a positive attitude to their learning. They have been quick to settle in their new classes and in some cases in their new school!

We are looking forward to continued efforts, enthusiasm and engagement in learning and sharing some of this over the course of this term and the year ahead.
It has been wonderful seeing everyone in the playground once again at the start and end of the school days. We continue to regularly review our school operations and we will keep you fully informed of any changes.
