Bleu, Blanc, Rouge

At Heronsgate, our students enjoy a quality language education that sparks curiosity and helps them understand the world better. We use engaging teaching methods to empower students to express their ideas and thoughts in another language. They also learn to understand and respond to its speakers in both speaking and writing. Our language program offers practical communication opportunities and encourages students to adopt new ways of thinking. This broadens their horizons and develops a global perspective.

Roses are Rouge, Violets are Bleu - Year 3

This Year 3 student is making great progress in learning to name colours in French. As part of the Year 3 curriculum, students focus on accurately pronouncing individual words in their new language. He has recorded voice notes, practised identifying and reading the words for comprehension, and pronouncing colours in French to improve his speaking skills.

French Hellos and Goodbye - UKS2

In Year 5, the students engaged in an enriching learning experience focused on introducing themselves and articulating their likes and dislikes. This valuable activity culminated in a productive conversation with their talk partners, where they shared important details such as their name, age, and where they live. This exercise helped build their French communication skills.
