Platform Cricket Festival
On Monday 10th June 2024 at the Academy, Woolwich, a team of year 4 children took part in a tournament at the Platform Cricket Festival along with twelve or more other teams from various local schools.In the group stage, Heronsgate won every game:
220 - 201 points versus Notre Dame
224 - 209 points versus Windrush
229 - 203 points versus St. Mary’s
In the quarter final, we won again against Winslade 216 - 206. We semi-finally lost to Greenslade, 211 - 219, but then picked up the bronze 3rd place award by winning again against Nightingale in the play-off, 231 - 214.
It was a fantastic day of cricket, amazingly well organised and run by Platform Cricket.
