WOW Badge Design Winner

Earlier this year, at Royal Arsenal campus, children took part in the Living Streets WOW Travel Tracker Badge Design Competition. This year's theme was WALK THROUGH TIME, which took us back in time to explore millions of years of history on Earth. Pupils were encouraged to research a historic period or event and depict it as a WOW badge. We received some truly excellent designs, the top 3 of which were sent into the national competition.

The organisers received around 115,000 entries! Of those 115,000, a Heronsgate child’s design was selected as one of the 11 winning badge designs! That puts their design in the top 0.01% of entries in the nation! Truly WOW!!! This individual’s design will be made into real WOW Travel Tracker badges to reward actively travelling children all over England next year. As well as this national recognition, they will also receive a glorious trophy, certificate, and for the school, £500 of Living Streets resources!
