Year 6 School Journey November 2021

At the start of November, Year 6 enjoyed a fabulous School Journey at the brilliant Osmington Bay in Dorset. We were blessed with incredible sunshine for our 5 days, during which the children developed their teamwork, resilience and overcame personal challenges.

Activities included trapeze, Jacob’s Ladder, climbing wall, orienteering, beach processes, zip line and giant swing. In the evenings, the children enjoyed group activities such as ambush, wacky races and campfire. During this week, children developed their skills in leadership, teamwork, communication and problem solving. Through challenging activities designed to push them out of their comfort zone, the children overcame their fears and in doing so, developed character, resilience and self-confidence.

We are sure the memories from this extraordinary week will last a lifetime!
