Peddle My Wheels

Huge thanks to everyone who donated for or attended our Peddle My Wheels bike sale on Wednesday 12th July. The Peddle My Wheels team were tremendously impressed by the number of donations (the most they’d ever had at a school!) and by the friendliness of children, parents and school staff.

The event cleared space from a lot of sheds, recycled 20 old unused bikes, professionally serviced and restored them to potential active use, provided them at low prices to the school community, raised £100 so far for the school from the 7 that were sold (+5 for other schools/organisations), and most importantly, delighted their new owners! Peddle My Wheels will continue to peddle the leftover bikes at other sites, so we can expect to double or more that £100 and raise even more smiles over time. The charity hold onto leftover stock from all their donation events, which is why we had some additional bikes available on the day, including some larger, secondary school children’s bikes at higher prices.

As Peddle My Wheels only service bikes, all of the scooters, roller skates and skateboards donated will be sold separately at the One World Fair after school on Wednesday 19th July.
