Start of term in Year 3 and 4

The children in Lower Key Stage 2 have made a fantastic start to the new academic year. In Year 3, the children have been learning about the Stone Age, the Bronze Age and the Iron Age. They have really enjoyed studying Stone Henge and Skara Brae and finding out what life was like at this time. They have also been exploring light and dark and the children loved making their own shadow puppet show!

In Year 4, the children have been excited to create actual working electrical circuits themselves. They have been totally absorbed learning about the history of children during the period of the Edwardians and World War One and many were left flabbergasted when comparing these experiences to their lives today.
